About Trust

Former MLA of Khanapur Atpadi assembly constituency Late Hon. Hanmantrao Patil (Saheb) has unique and indispensible position in the structure and holistic development of Vita city and constituency. Taking note of his unprecedented contribution towards the constituency, the people conferred him a grand „civic felicitation‟ in 1994. At that time, the people spontaneously collected funds and gave a bag of five lakh rupees to the Saheb as a gift. By showing a glimpse of his foresight, without using the said amount for his personal needs, the Saheb expressed the hope that the money would be used for the education of the poor and drown trodden boys and girls in vita city and surrounding villages in the talukas. He handed over the sum to his son Hon. Adv. Sadashivrao (Bhau) Patil.

The comprehensive intention of Late Hon. Hanmantrao (Saheb) Patil was the education should be imparted to the poor and downtrodden and be developed intellectually, physically and mentally. Taking consideration of the Saheb‟s intention into account and inspired by the motto of the Sanstha, Hon. Adv. Sadashivrao (Bhau) Patil exemplified the estate and legacy of Hon. Saheb in an ideal way. Loknete Hon. Hanmantrao Patil charitable trust was established by Hon. Adv. Sadashivrao (Bhau) Patil on 7th December, 1994 with the aim of fulfilling the dream of the Saheb.

Educational Work

From the academic year 2004-05, under the able guidance of founder president Hon. Bhau, his son and former mayor Hon. Adv. Vaibhav (Dada) Patil has managed the organization efficiently. On the strength of his great decision making ability, the organization is moving forward with vigour. Today, under the able leadership of Hon. Bhau, the trust is seen expanding like a banyan tree. Through the trust, which is established in the name of Saheb, large expansion has been done in the form of pre primary, primary, secondary, higher secondary and higher education in a very short span of time. Moreover, every educational unit has been functioning ideal as its name suggests. The Sanstha has made a distinct mark in the field of education.

All the branches of the organization are functioning very efficiently, equipped with all the physical facilities. Along with the well equipped and magnificent buildings of all the academic branches, the quality education imparted is a testament to the perfect development. Hon. Bhau and Hon. Dada always pay special attention to how to provide high quality education and how to create our own ideal pattern of education among the institutions. These educational reforms have played a huge and vital role in the transformation of vita and its surrounding area. On the whole, all the branches have been making „ideal‟ efforts in all areas befitting their reputation.

Social Work

Both the founder president Hon. Adv. Sadashivrao (Bhau) Patil and the existing president Hon. Adv. Vaibhav (Dada) Patil have successfully organized and implemented ample social programmes and activities in the last 30 years through this trust. Among them, mainly fodder camps for animals during drought, organization of blood donation camps twice in a year, distribution of vital goods and food for flood victims, financial assistance in the chief minster‟s relief fund, donated five acres of land in free for sports centre in Vita and started well equipped wrestling centre in the city. Active participation in beautification and cleanliness activities of Vita city and various trainings and motivational lectures are organized for women.

Loknete Hon. Hanmantrao Patil Charitable Trust was founded by Hon. Adv. Sadashivrao (Bhau) Patil to fulfill the dream of his father Late Hon. Hanmantrao Patil (Saheb).
